If I want to become a Lawyer in Tax Law, should I be an economics or management major?

I have to choose my major by Wednesday, 8AM. I was talking to my professors and they said economics but they are bias because they are econ majors. When I asked my management professor he said do a management major. When I ask my counselors they said its up to me.
I just want to know the pros and cons of each, thank you!

That’s a good question. Lawyers may have to understand the economic logic of taxation policy as well as the application of the law in business.
It’s better to just choose what you are more interested in and what you think you will need for the first few years of your career. You can always study the other one later.
It really doesn’t matter what you major in. I am currently in law school and I was a psychology major. I have friends that majored in everything from math to computer science to English. It really makes no difference, you’ll learn everything about the practice of law in law school, not undergrad. Major in what you want, take the classes you will enjoy the most, and take the classes that will best help your G.P.A. since that’s what law schools will look at when it comes to admissions.
