Why “this—is WRONG”? There is nothing “wrong” about it. “THIS” is your “Constitutional Right” afforded to you by our “Forefathers”. There is nothing “wrong” about it. “This” is flat using your head.
Skeptic, good idea. ALWAYS get an attorney. But, don’t forget this: IF the police are talking to you, they don’t have what they need. If they did, they wouldn’t need to talk to you…..so, DON’T give them what they need to prosecute you. And, you still have the 5th Amendment during a Grand Jury proceeding, if the questioning pertains to your self incrimination. AND, you can consult your attorney in the hallway after EVERY question the grand jury asks you.

O k its official ,to me anyway. You can be arrested for anything at anytime for any reason. We have LAWED ourselves out of freedom.

A quickly recanted confession describing a highly implausible murder scenario combined with not one iota of physical evidence would seem to be a very weak basis for carrying forward a first-degree murder prosecution. It got petty criminal Carl Derek Cooper a life sentence, though. Google “Starbucks Suspect Recanted before Confession Announced” for all the disgusting details.

He does have a point though. The ADL have infiltrated most police stations of federal police. Also many whole city police officials have had junkets to Israel with all expenses paid. In return many private Israeli companies, including the Israeli private security companies that have been caught wiretapping and providing security at all the 9-11 airports used as well as the security cameras for the London Tube bombings. This is suppressed in the media so that always raises my suspicion.

Criminalization of the population is how you get the good people to beg for a police state and the victims to rebel against the little tools but rarely against the source.
So refuse to talk to the cops and make them bring you before the grand jury! In the meantime you can talk to a lawyer. Why is this a good idea? Because everything said in front of the grand jury is on the record, taken down by real court reporters, not by the cops.
This isn’t always true. Some states have a “Stop and ID” statute. Nevada is one. What you say is true for, e.g. California, but not Nevada.
Police used to be for the people, now it’s about making a quota, its about keeping there job, an looking good by there peers. the people to them are just enough pay check. They loose sight of the human aspect, an go with I’m just doing what I’m told. Not don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are a few very honest cops out there, and I amend them for there efforts, but even in the eyes of most other officers, they will be looked down on. An casted out as if not part of the popular click in high sch.
It’s a no win. The idea is great. But even in most area refusing to talk will only incriminate you. I’ve seen in some rare occasion someone being held in prison indefinite just because he would speak to anyone. Yeah you can be a **** an not say anything, or make it hard for them, but end the end its really up to them. He is right about one thing, if cops want to arrest you for something they will, innocent or guilty. Actually the second you “plead the 5th” be ready to get arrested.

Yes. Your not even required to give them your ID in if you have not broken any law. If they are just coming up to you to pick on you and ask for your ID you do not have to give them it. PERIOD
Cops want to find something wrong, I refuse to help a cop out in telling on myself. When I get pulled over i have rolled up my windows and locked my doors when asked to exit my vehicle with my keys inside. My car has a key pad on the side of my can so they can’t force me to comply without a warrant. Being pulled over for ticket does not give them PC to search. They get pissed because I will not comply and I force them to bring their dog out and I waste their time. Make it hard for them.

That is the traffic code and almost all traffic infractions are below the offense of felony. There is no culpable mental state to commit a traffic offense. You assume responsibility behind the wheel. Having a drivers license is a privilege, not a right. You are required to call the police for this.
No, you CANNOT refuse to answer questions from the police if YOU are NOT being investigated. The 5th Amendment protects YOU from SELF incrimination. If someone else is being investigated, you are required to cooperate. If you refuse to talk to the police when YOU are NOT the one being investigated, they can subpoena you to testify before the grand jury regarding the case.
can we as citizens refuse to answer questins from the police if we are not being investigated for a crime or under arrest.
Cops want people to BREAK the LAW . Why? Because without CRIME COPS don’t have JOBS! So, they want be detectives, get jobs with the FBI, DEA, ATF, and so on….. They need as many arrests on their resume in order to get those jobs, so again i reinterate Without crime cops don’t jobs
